EHS Coordinator

Position Overview

We are a leading manufacturer of concrete masonry products in the Western U.S., producing items like structural blocks, paving stones, and retaining walls. The EHS Coordinator will coordinate safety meetings, ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, and conduct regular safety audits. This role also includes managing employee training, maintaining safety records, and supporting sustainability initiatives within the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead and train employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with management to analyze workplace incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain and report on EHS metrics, tracking progress and areas for improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge in basic machinery.
• Proven experience in management in an industrial manufacturing background.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Confident personality and willing to enforce safety compliance polices on a daily basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
