Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental compliance
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance workplace safety
- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation and reports
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in an EHS role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, OSHA standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with employees at all levels.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus
