We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls & Project Engineer to design, implement, and manage electrical control systems for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving process efficiency and ensuring that our systems operate reliably and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing production processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical controls and PLCs in a timely manner.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Train and support maintenance personnel on system operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Travel required about 50% of the time
- Must have one of the following license: Oregon Electrical License, General Journey License, or Plant Manufacturing Journey
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC and HMI systems
- Familiarity with Ethernet networking and communications
- Proficiency in Wonderware and FactoryTalk software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
