The Electrical Controls Engineer will design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems in packaging and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for packaging machinery and automation processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
- Create and review electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD.
- Integrate sensors and vision systems into automated processes.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support during installations, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley and Omron systems.
- Experience with HMI design and implementation.
- Familiarity with motion control systems and robotics, including gantry systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical schematic design.
- Solid understanding of C and SQL programming languages.
- Experience with sensors and vision systems for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
