The Electrical & Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for various projects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electrical components and systems while adhering to safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems for industrial automation projects.
- Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to meet project specifications.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Document design specifications, testing procedures, and project progress for future reference.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on electrical systems and controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical and controls engineering, particularly with PLC and HMI systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to electrical engineering.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
