Job Description
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, both residential and commercial. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and align with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
- Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Review material and labor requirements to decide the most cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in both residential and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
