Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze detailed electrical estimates for various projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements when necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability of materials.
- Ensure all estimates are completed on time and in accordance with company standards.
- Utilize estimation software and tools to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and design principles.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
