The Electrical Project Designer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects. This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers and architects to ensure that electrical designs are efficient, sustainable, and meet all relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess and define project requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for creating detailed design drawings.
- Perform load calculations and sizing for distribution, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC and California Title 24 standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper implementation of designs.
- Provide support during project construction and installation phases.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, lighting design, and fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with NEC and CA Title 24 regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
