This role focuses on implementing lean maintenance practices and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure high standards of operational performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, applying lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation effectively to optimize costs.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve maintenance processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
