We are seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing solutions for environmental remediation projects. This role requires a combination of fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting to support our environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations
- Perform groundwater and soil sampling and testing
- Prepare Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports
- Execute test pitting, soil boring, and well installation tasks
- Assess vapor intrusion risks and develop remediation strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of findings
- Research and analyze environmental data to support project needs
- Collaborate with engineers and other scientists in project planning
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HAZWOPER regulations
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site plans and project designs
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
- 1 year of experience in the environmental field, preferably in a consulting setting
- Familiarity with ASTM standards and environmental regulations
- Well-versed in groundwater/soil sampling, well installations, remedial system O&M, and report writing
- Ability to work outdoors and conduct field investigations
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification desired
