Description:
The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting your team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining high-quality products.
You will contribute daily to the progress of plant start up and commissioning. Your tasks will include creating documents and training procedures, participating in various tasks, and building knowledge of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members on your shift.
- Manage relationships with other plant leadership and support other departments to ensure efficiency throughout all operations.
- Provide detailed daily report outs on inventory, KPIs, production runs, shipments, and receipts.
- Ensure detailed logs are kept for equipment, process parameters, inventory, and waste tracking.
- Evaluate production plans and inventory, monitor performance, and communicate with plant leadership to maintain all schedule adherences.
- Monitor and manage use of our ERP system to ensure accurate record keeping and ensure that your team is executing procedures properly.
- Efficiently and safely operate equipment.
- Inspect products for quality and document results accurately.
- Learn not only the tasks required for the assigned job, but also understand the reason why each step is important in the whole production process of ESL and Aseptic products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field, or 5 years of supervisory experience in food/beverage manufacturing plant or similar field.
- Experience with Microsoft office programs.
- Roles as a leader, ideally in a food, beverage, or other manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operating heavy equipment in a warehouse and/or manufacturing facility.
- Flexibility and adaptability to moving from a startup to a fully established manufacturing facility.
- Ability to translate schedules, performance, and goals into metrics that define health and effectiveness of productivity.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Familiar with current communication tools and platforms (collaboration tools, instant messaging, blogs, etc.). Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not required.
