Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the maintenance and operation of all equipment within the organization.
- Coordinate equipment schedules to ensure availability and efficiency in operations.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing and repairs.
- Manage parts inventory and purchasing to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with forestry teams to understand equipment needs and optimize usage.
- Evaluate the performance of equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
- Proven experience as an Equipment Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and operation, particularly in the forestry sector.
- Experience with Heavy Equipment - Tigercat, CMI Mulcher, or Mastication
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and schedules effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to equipment operation.
