Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
- Perform maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Assist with underground construction tasks including trenching and backfilling.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair utilities, including pipes and fittings as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to achieve project goals.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Certification or license in operating heavy machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of underground construction techniques and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
