Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance on estate planning, asset protection, and the administration of trusts and estates. The role requires a deep understanding of trusts, wills, and various legal intricacies to best serve our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
• Provide legal counsel regarding asset protection and estate planning strategies
• Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration matters
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
• Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and asset transfers
• Manage fiduciary duties and responsibilities as necessary
• Assist with litigation related to trusts and estates, if needed
• Counsel clients on compliance with estate planning laws and regulations
• Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution regarding estate disputes
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active state bar license to practice law
• Proven experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on wills and asset protection
• Strong knowledge of probate and tax law is preferred
• Excellent legal research and document drafting skills
• Exceptional client counseling abilities and interpersonal skills
• Experience in litigation and mediation related to estate matters is a plus
• Demonstrated fiduciary responsibility and ethical practice in legal matters
