The ideal candidate will specialize in estate planning services, assisting clients in creating wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents to ensure their wishes are honored and their assets are managed appropriately. This position requires a strong understanding of estate laws and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to guide them through the planning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on estate planning matters to clients, including the preparation of wills and trusts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to estate planning and trust administration.
- Assist clients in understanding their estate planning options and the implications of their decisions.
- Conduct client meetings to discuss estate planning objectives and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in estate and probate law to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans for clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in NC.
- 2 years of experience in estate planning.
- Strong understanding of estate laws, trust administration, and probate processes.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-facing approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
