Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team, specializing in data center and mission critical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that all estimations align with project specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center and mission critical projects
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and analyze project specifications to determine labor and material costs
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Prepare and submit competitive bids to clients and stakeholders
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes for various project components
• Participate in project close-out procedures to ensure all financials are accurately documented and finalized
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years electrical estimating experience
• Familiarity with medium voltage systems (required)
• Experience specific to data centers/mission critical
• Strong understanding of quantity takeoff processes and bidding procedures
• Experience working with major tech companies such as Intel, Amazon, or Google (preferred)
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to support accurate estimations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
