Estimator- Heavy Civil

We are family-owned Heavy Civil General Contractor specializing in heavy civil public and private projects in the greater Phoenix area. We self-perform most of our work including roadway, grading, underground utilities, concrete, and site development. Due to demand and growth for our services, we are looking to add a project manager to the team!

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil public and private construction projects, including site development, underground utility, grading, and concrete
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Research and source materials and labor costs
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines
• Continuously monitor project progress and update estimates as needed
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure compliance with project specification
  
  

What You Need for this Position

• 3 years of experience estimating heavy civil public & private projects- grading, underground utility, concrete, site development
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Civil Engineering experience in Heavy Civil
• Familiarity with estimating softwares: HCSS, Heavy Bid, Agtek, Excel
• Project fiscal responsibility
• Strong oversight abilities
