Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project details and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather information for estimates.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in cost estimation.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and presentations to communicate estimates and project costs effectively.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and related documents for future reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably with industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
- Experience with tilt-wall construction and aviation projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
