Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for sheet metal and wall panel systems.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to provide accurate bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Maintain and update cost databases to enhance future estimation processes.
- Provide input on value engineering and cost-saving measures during the design phase.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal and wall panel systems.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
