We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team, responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates to support our industrial building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a keen understanding of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information.
- Conduct take-offs and prepare bids for various projects.
- Manage and track procurement processes for materials and services.
- Utilize estimating software, such as Blue Beam and Procore, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide support during the bid submission process and negotiate with suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project evaluations.
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in industrial construction.
- Experience working with industrial builders A
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction estimating practices.
- Familiarity with take-offs, bids, and procurement processes.
- Experience in civil and commercial construction is a plus.
- Proficiency in estimating software, specifically Blue Beam and Procore.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
