This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive take-offs and procurement strategies for various types of construction, including high-rise and mid-rise commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and take-offs.
- Analyze and review bid proposals to determine the most competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project costing.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractor services.
- Conduct site visits to gather information for cost estimates and project feasibility.
- Utilize Procore software to track project costs and documentation efficiently.
- Prepare bid packages and present cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the estimating process.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of take-offs, bids, and procurement processes.
- Experience with high-rise and mid-rise construction projects.
- Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
