We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in project planning and cost management, providing accurate estimates that help guide our construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Analyze project documents to identify scope, materials, and labor needs for accurate estimation.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project details and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize estimating software and tools, including Hard Dollar and Primavera, to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost factors to ensure competitive bids.
- Review and adjust estimates based on changes to project scope or unforeseen circumstances.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of estimating principles and practices.
- Proficient in using estimation software, preferably Hard Dollar and Primavera.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with various stakeholders.
