What You'll Do
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll take projects from conceptual design to construction administration and post-occupancy. You'll collaborate across disciplines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Staying updated on codes and technologies relevant to the electrical discipline.
- Ensuring designs comply with established practices, standards, and applicable codes.
- Conducting site visits to evaluate and gather data on electrical systems and materials.
- Leading designs in a BIM environment.
- Completing engineering and design tasks aligned with client specifications and codes.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members for quality and providing mentorship.
- Leading junior engineers in design development and professional growth.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to see projects through from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in consulting or design-build environments.
- Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and graphical.
- Familiarity with building, electrical, and energy conservation codes, as well as NFPA standards.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM PTW.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing projects.
- Strong ambition, work ethic, and a team-player mindset.
