We are a major manufacturer of Swiss machines and are seeking an experienced technician/ installer for our major clients in the area.
Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex machinery and equipment at customer sites. The Installation includes all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating, and wiring of machines and accessories. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance of their systems while providing exceptional customer service and technical support. You will be provided a car allowance and be paid by the mile for travel, however, if travel is further than two and half hours away flights will be provided and fully covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct installation and assembly of Swiss machinery and equipment at client locations.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on Swiss machines and related equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance and reliability.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Proven experience in field installation and assembly of machinery, specifically Swiss machines.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, software, calibration set up, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for service management.
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining and software installation.
- Understanding of PLC systems and their troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Training can be provided and will be conducted in Kentucky.
