About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced Controller to join CyberCoders and contribute to our success.
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving capex requests, developing and implementing standard costs and cost accounting processes, and utilizing Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Management of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Leadership of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Development and implementation of standard costs and cost accounting processes to enhance profitability.
- Review and approval of capex requests and ensuring proper resource allocation for projects.
- Utilization of Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Providing mentorship and leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting; proficiency with Epicor ERP software and other financial management tools.
- Qualifications: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail; strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
