The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing fire protection systems that ensure the safety of buildings and their occupants. This role requires a deep understanding of fire safety codes and standards, as well as expertise in fire protection technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire protection systems including sprinklers, alarms, and smoke control systems.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and develop fire safety plans.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate fire protection solutions into building designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for fire protection projects.
- Stay updated on fire protection codes, standards, and technologies.
- Conduct field inspections and provide recommendations for fire safety improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SPRINK.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
