The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems in compliance with local regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety principles and the ability to create effective and efficient sprinkler layouts for various building types.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and calculations for submittals
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design accuracy
- Perform site visits to assess existing conditions and provide solutions
- Review and approve shop drawings submitted by subcontractors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations
- Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fire sprinkler design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and fire protection design software is a plus
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., NICET) is a plus

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
