Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Food Scientist with expertise in Quality Assurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our food products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This position will focus on implementing quality control measures, conducting research, and contributing to product development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assessments and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance programs and policies.
- Perform shelf life testing and nutritional analysis of food products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct audits and inspections of production processes and facilities.
- Analyze data and create reports on product quality and safety.
- Assist in the training of staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and emerging food safety trends.
- Participate in risk assessment and quality improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience with laboratory techniques and sensory analysis is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
