Location: Massachusetts - Remote
Compensation: $130K-$185k base salary
Requirement: 6 years of Public Accounting experience. CPA preferred, but not required.
This is a fully remote opportunity with a preference of candidates on Eastern and Central Standard Time Zones.
We are a regional firm located in Wakefield, MA with staff spread out across all time zones. Our main focus on clientele is on the High-Net-Worth side of things offering services including tax compliance, philanthropic advising, estate planning to name a few. We also focus on these industries as well; Construction, Manufacturing, Distribution, Non-Profit, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all tax-related activities, including the preparation of quarterly and year-end tax returns, planning, and compliance.
- Identify potential tax savings opportunities and provide research and advice on tax-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and other third-party service providers.
- Provide guidance and support on tax-related projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal processes and controls to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax, BNA products, and CCH Intelliconnect is desired
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax preparation and research.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- CPA certification preferred.
