The Healthcare Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction and renovation projects in healthcare facilities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to coordinate subcontractors and maintain project schedules effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of hospital construction and renovation projects.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with healthcare facility management to minimize disruption to hospital operations during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address issues promptly.
- 5 years of proven experience in hospital construction or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor management and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Experience with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) is a plus.
