Position Overview
The HSE Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards, including OSHA guidelines.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Provide training and development programs to educate employees on health and safety practices and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of safety programs and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental activities.
- Promote a culture of safety by effectively communicating policies and procedures to all levels of staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Certifications in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) are a plus.
