Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled I&C Project Engineer to manage and lead instrumentation and control system projects within the water and wastewater industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering design, and client interaction, ensuring successful project delivery from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage instrumentation and control system projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and design control system specifications and software.
- Create and review project documentation including design calculations, technical specifications, and submittals.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare permits and manage the permitting process for projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting purposes, including AutoCAD electrical for creating electrical schematics.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the instrumentation and control systems field, particularly in the water/wastewater industry.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and AutoCAD electrical.
- Experience in control system design and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration.
