Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in the tax compliance and advisory services for individual, corporate, and partnership clients. This position involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, providing strategic tax planning, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support client engagements.
- Assist in the preparation of international tax compliance documents, including FBAR, 5472, 5471, and Form 1065.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients regarding tax planning and compliance strategies.
- Utilize Pro Systems and Ultra Tax software for tax preparation and compliance tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.
- Mentor and train junior staff members on tax compliance and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
- Active CPA license is perfered
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with international tax issues, including CFC and foreign partnerships.
- Proficiency in tax software such as Pro Systems and Ultra Tax.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
