IT Manager

Position Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the information technology operations of the organization, ensuring that IT infrastructure is aligned with business goals. This role encompasses managing IT support, implementing cybersecurity measures, and maintaining network systems and hardware to support organizational efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the IT department to ensure effective support and maintenance of IT systems and services.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage cybersecurity initiatives to protect the organizations data and IT assets from threats.
• Supervise IT support staff and address technical issues escalated from the support team.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
• Monitor network performance and ensure the reliability and security of network infrastructure.
• Evaluate and manage hardware and software procurement to support organizational requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Experience with IT support and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with network management and infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
