Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for civil and utility projects
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and materials needed
- Collect and evaluate cost data from various sources to support accurate estimating
- Prepare bid proposals and present estimates to project managers
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goals
- Maintain organized records of estimates and related documentation
- Support the senior estimator in conducting cost analysis and value engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in estimating or a related role preferred
- Familiarity with civil and utility construction processes
- Proficient in cost analysis and estimating software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
