Land Development Designer (III)

Position Overview

We are searching for a Designer III - Land Development to add to our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning and design of land development projects. The position focuses on creating detailed designs and layouts that meet client requirements and regulatory standards, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed site layouts and utility layouts for land development projects.
• Prepare plan sheets and grading designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Design water distribution and sanitary sewer systems in compliance with local regulations.
• Conduct earthwork calculations and assist in the preparation of grading plans.
• Create pipe network designs and storm drainage systems while ensuring sediment control measures are in place.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
• Review and analyze project specifications, and provide technical input as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering field with emphasis on land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
• Strong understanding of water distribution, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage design principles.
• Experience with sediment control measures and earthwork calculations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
