Key Responsibilities
- Lead land development projects from initial acquisition through to final development approval and construction.
- Conduct acquisition analysis to identify potential development opportunities and assess financial viability.
- Perform financial modeling and proforma analysis to evaluate project profitability and ensure robust financial planning.
- Engage in market analysis to inform project design and determine the best land use strategies.
- Manage relationships with local government agencies, stakeholders, and contractors to facilitate project approvals and successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on land evaluations, zoning, and master planning to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all land use zoning regulations and ordinances throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the planning and development of master planned communities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and budget constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land development project management for a home builder.
- Strong knowledge of land use zoning, ordinances, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with financial modeling, proforma analysis, and market research.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively.
