The Lead Controls Engineer will oversee and manage the design, development, and implementation of control systems for automation projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively, while also providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of control systems for automation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise in the selection and programming of control hardware and software, including PLCs and robotic systems.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate control system functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for controls engineering and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in controls engineering, with a focus on automation systems.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring Fanuc and Epson robots.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing control strategies for automated systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
