Lead Superintendent - Commercial Ground Up Construction (New 20m project breaking ground soon, we are looking a superintendent that has structural experience with pilings and dewatering)

$130k - 140k / 145k Base Salary DOE Performance based bonuses, Gas and Vehicle Allowance, PTO, 401k matching, Full medical benefits and more

We are a well established and reputable mid-size commercial general contractor based in Ft. Myers with other offices throughout Florida.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all phases of construction activities for commercial ground-up projects.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labor crews to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide updates and address concerns.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain high construction standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site in a timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects with heavy structural components including pilings and dewatering
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Familiarity with structural work, pilings, and dewatering is a plus.
• Experience in resort or new construction projects is advantageous.
