Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of legal documents and pleadings
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Prepare summaries of legal documents and transactions for review by attorneys
- 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
- Past work in litigation
- Ability to work in office in Lubbock Texas
- Knowledge of law areas like estate planning, employment law, insurance defense, liability defense, and others is a huge plus
