What You'll Do
As a valued member of our team, you'll:
- Manage personal injury case files from start to finish.
- Collaborate with claims adjusters and request, review, and organize medical records.
- Prepare medical evidence for trial and schedule permanent impairment evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with Court Rules and discovery deadlines.
- Prepare general legal correspondence, motions, and objections.
- Assist in discovery and document management.
- Serve and file legal papers in courts (experience with electronic filing is a bonus).
- Maintain effective communication with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Organize and prepare case files for court hearings.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- 1-3 years of law firm experience (required).
- Strong secretarial skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- A detail-oriented mindset with top-notch proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and NetDocuments (scanning and managing electronic files is a plus).
