Salary: $140k-$180k/yr

Location: 2 days onsite in one of the following locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Irvine, or Walnut Creek

Experience: 2 yrs of experience in General Liability Litigation.

Billables: 1900

Bonuses: End-of-year bonuses (combination of billables, performance, and discretionary bonuses),

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney specializing in General Liability to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of complex litigation cases, focusing on insurance defense, premises liability, and auto/transportation claims. This position requires a strong advocate with excellent analytical and communication skills, dedicated to achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court and before governmental agencies in litigation matters
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Manage all phases of litigation from pre-trial to trial and appeal
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting general liability and insurance defense
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general liability and insurance defense
• Strong knowledge of premises liability, auto, and transportation law
• Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes and client relations
