Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation cases involving oil and gas disputes
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations pertaining to land use and energy laws
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes outside of court
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting the oil and gas industry
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in oil and gas law
- Strong knowledge of energy regulations and land use issues
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to handle complex legal issues and work under pressure
