Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. This role focuses on civil litigation and requires a strong commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception to conclusion
• Conduct thorough legal research and writing to support case strategies
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and arbitrations as needed
• Represent clients in court during trials and other legal proceedings
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
• Maintain organized case files and effective case management systems
• Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case progress
• Participate in continuing legal education and professional development opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation
• Strong research and writing skills
• Proven experience in case management and motion practice
• Excellent oral advocacy skills and trial experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to client service and professional ethics
