The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation cases, from initial intake through trial preparation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and management
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis Advance
- Manage e-filing of documents with courts
- Organize and maintain case files and discovery documents
- Assist in trial preparation including creating exhibits and witness lists
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed
- Track case deadlines and ensure timely submission of documents
- Utilize Aderant Total Office for case management and billing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
- Proficient in legal research and document drafting
- Experience with e-filing procedures
- Familiarity with commercial auto and product liability cases
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software including Aderant Total Office and Lexis Advance
