The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning optimally to meet production demands in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong background in automation and robotics, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team during the night shift to ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
- Implement and monitor maintenance procedures and schedules, focusing on continuous improvement and adherence to Six Sigma principles.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing knowledge of PLC and robotics systems, including Allen Bradley components.
- Manage parts inventory and ensure necessary supplies are available for maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices in maintenance and safety protocols.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and practices, including automation and robotics.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant technical degree or certification in engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
