We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Testing & Commissioning Engineering to oversee and enhance our testing and commissioning processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment of our engineering projects, focusing on the technical activities associated with protection and control systems within transmission and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the testing and commissioning engineering team.
- Develop and implement test and commissioning plans to ensure project success.
- Oversee field testing activities and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with field engineers to perform engineering analysis and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure that all technical content is accurate and meets project requirements.
- Monitor performance-driven maintenance systems and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate testing and commissioning efforts into engineering design practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning engineering, particularly in protection and control systems.
- Strong understanding of transmission and distribution systems.
- Experience in leading technical teams and managing project timelines.
- Familiarity with engineering design practices and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
