- Operate manual milling machines, vertical turning lathes, horizontal boring mills, grinders, planers, drill presses, hydraulic presses, band saws, and other related equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other related documents.
- Measure, mark, and layout material for machining operations.
- Operate forklifts and cranes as necessary.
- Perform drilling, tapping, turning, honing, polishing, and other related processes.
- Ensure accuracy and precision of parts and components.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain neat and orderly work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining operations.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities.
- Collaborate with other personnel to improve machinery and processes.
- Experience as a manual machinist.
- Thorough knowledge of manual machining operations, processes, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
