Responsibilities
- Work with the team on major engineering projects, independently handling assigned portions of projects.
- Perform engineering studies and investigations.
- Work on quality, production, maintenance, and other factors to improve manufacturing methods.
- Recommend product design improvements from a manufacturing viewpoint.
- Implement new methods, equipment, machines and tools.
- Maintain and improve product and process specifications.
- Communicate with vendors to identify improved methods of equipment use.
- Assist in reduction of manual processes and bottlenecks.
- Continuously present areas for improvement to quality, performance, cost and environmental impact.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Degree in engineering or relevant experience.
- Experience with process development.
- Knowledge of machines, tool design, and product design.
- Familiar with manufacturing methods and equipment, and quality control.
