We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency and reducing costs while maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and analyze manufacturing methods to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
- Create and maintain operator work instructions and quality work instructions.
- Conduct space planning and equipment layout to enhance production flow.
- Perform process failure mode and effect analysis to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards and maintain quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Manage vendor relationships for tooling and equipment procurement.
- Analyze production time estimates to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Lead continuous process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and methods development.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 compliance and quality control standards.
- Experience with process failure mode and effect analysis (PFMEA) and quality improvement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
